If you have items that can be "Given Away for Free", then please use at least one of the following 2 sites on the Internet for a good and relatively private way to give away your items. You can easily arrange to have someone in the local area come pickup and take away your items like the ones in the photo. Yes people give away palette wood, plastic bins, bicycles, and more!
1) Buy Nothing Solana Beach on Facebook
2) For Sale & Free on Nextdoor.com
If what you have needs to be "hauled away as LARGE BULK ITEM GARBAGE" then you have the following options:
3) Contact a Junk Pickup Service and for a reasonable fee they will come take your Bulk Item away. Here is a LIST OF JUNK HAULERS
4) Contact EDCO and tell them you live in an HOA but you need to PRIVATELY PAY to have them haul away your large items. Here is the EDCO WEBSITE LINK
5) Lastly, hold your bulk items till either the SPRING or FALL City of Solana Beach, 'FREE' BULKY ITEM CLEANUP DAY at La Colonia Park.
The trash bin areas are NOT for dumping large items. We have seen closet doors, sofas, chairs, dishwashers, televisions, Christmas trees, etc.
